Current Research

  • Synthesis, Dispersion, Purification, and Composite Synthesis of boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs)
    • Investigating the synthesis of BNNTs to enable the development and implementation of optimized conditions for highly crystalline BNNTs with low impurity levels
    • Investigating purification methods to remove impurities from boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs)
    • Using solvents to disperse BNNTs in various solutions to enable BNNT composite synthesis
    • Characterizing raw BNNT material versus BNNT composites to determine various property changes
