Research Project: Statistical Method for Intelligent Data Integration

The student will perform research in flight mechanics for atmospheric
flight phase of a spacecraft. This study will be mainly focused on
identifying parameters in aerodynamic model of a given vehicle with
baseline data provided from various sources such as scaled flight
experiments, wind tunnel tests, actual flight and etc. All steps as
well as identified model will be validated through statistic method.
The research will start with CEV and Earth as its target vehicle and
atmospheric environment. After successful modeling, this will be
expanded to accommodate any vehicle and planet as an input.
