The project involves the in modeling of advanced exploration systems. The research activities will include developing system and subsystems models for vehicle concepts that are part of future human Lunar and Mars architectures currently under study by NASA as a part of the Vision for Space Exploration.  The research may also include developing better modeling tools and methods to support concept development.
