NIA is participating in the Joint NASA/NSF Research and Education Opportunities Conference for Principal Investigators, Faculty, and Partners. The Conference takes place February 22-24, 2007 in Chantilly, Virginia. Joyce Winterton, Assistant Administrator for Education in the Office of Education at NASA, and Arden Bement, Director of the National Science Foundation, will oversee the conference with a keynote perspective of Broadening Participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Fields.
