Dr. Yeonjoon Park, Research Scientist, joined NIA in April and is working in the area of Development of Thermoelectric Materials and Electro-Optic Devices at NASA LaRC. Yeonjoon was most recently with Science & Technology Corp., and received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
Dr. Paula Tucker-Hogan and Mr. Norman “Storm” Robinson are the newest members of the Education and Outreach team. Paula, Director of Educator’s Professional Development Programs, comes to us with prior experience in working with NASA/Norfolk State University’s Pre-Service Teacher Program. Paula has an Ed.D. in Humanistic & Behavioral Psychology from Boston University. Storm has joined the organization as an Education Specialist. He was previously with Oklahoma State University earning his MS in Aerospace Education while working as an Aerospace Education Specialist providing professional development for teachers and programs for students.
Ms. Mollie Buechel has joined NIA as Administrative Assistant in support of the Langley Professors. Mollie has a strong background in providing administrative support and is a welcomed addition to our administrative team.
Ms. Carolyn Sager has also recently joined the NIA staff as Administrative Assistant to the VP of Research and Program Development. Carolyn also provides support to other areas within the department, to include the Director of LaRC Programs and VP of Commercial Aeronautics Programs.
Ms. Alisa Stafford-Rodgers is the newest addition to the NIA staff and contracts department. As Senior Contract Administrator, Alisa will primarily be assisting in the area of University contracts/grants, as well as supporting other areas of the department. Alisa comes to us from Hampton University where she worked as Projects Administrator for the Department of Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences.
