Life-Cycle Cost Estimation for NASA’s Exploration Systems Architecture Study

The Director of NASA Headquarters’ Cost Analysis Division and Cost Lead for the Exploration Systems Architecture Study (ESAS) will provide an overview of NASA’s cost estimation tools and methods and how they were applied to the ESAS effort. The approach to modeling integrated life cycle costs of ESAS architecture elements will be presented including cost-risk analysis, trade studies, productivity adjustments, and comparisons to Apollo costs.
