Computation of Hydrogen Atom
Photoelectron Spectra in Momentum Space
Tsin-Fu Jiang, Institute of Physics, National Chiao Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan
This talk is focused mainly on computational techniques for describing laser-atom interactions. An efficient method is presented for calculations in momentum space. This method is used to obtain photoelectron spectra resulting from interaction of the hydrogen atom with an intense laser pulse. Obtaining similar data by solving the coordinate space Schrödinger equation is either difficult or not feasible at present.
