NASA's Exploration Systems Architecture Study (ESAS) Trade Studies and Results
Doug Stanley, Georgia Tech

Dr. Stanley will present the results of NASA's recently completed Exploration Systems Architecture Study (ESAS) that was commissioned by the NASA Administrator to define the systems, schedule, budgets, programs, and technologies required to return humans to the Moon, service the International Space Station after Space Shuttle retirement, and to eventually transport humans to Mars. Over 400 engineers and analysts from every NASA Center participated in this 90-day effort. Dr. Stanley, who led the effort, works for the Georgia Institute of Technology in residence at the National Institute of Aerospace.
