Do I have to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement to get information on NIA Featured Technologies?
Information is provided to interested parties on a number of levels. First, you may visit our NIA Featured Technologies Page that gives a brief description of the opportunity and a biographical reference on the lead NIA inventor. In addition, NIA may provide you with published papers and workshop presentations related to the featured technology.

For some of our featured technology, NIA may only have provided a brief technology abstract on our NIA Featured Technologies web-page. More detailed information, including in-depth discussion with the lead researcher will be available once a NIA non-disclosure agreement is executed. Please see NIA Technology Transfer and Commercialization Forms web-page for more information.

Are NIA Featured Technologies ready to be marketed commercially?
NIA is a research and educational institute, with the majority of our technology transfer opportunities resulting from our cooperative agreement with NASA Langley Research Center. Some of the NIA Featured Technologies are available for licensing and can be commercially produced. Some of our NIA Featured Technologies may require a licensee to create a product for commercial use.
